Engagements built around how modular projects actually happen.

Whether you're exploring modular for the first time or already mid-contract, these are the four shapes an engagement usually takes — but the real work starts with a conversation about where you are.

01

Modular Feasibility & Exploration

For owners, developers, and general contractors deciding whether modular delivery is right for a project. This is early-stage advisory — before a manufacturer is selected, before contracts are drafted — focused on how the relationship between manufacturer, GC, and owner should be structured from the outset, and what risks and dependencies come with a modular delivery method versus traditional construction.

02

Contracting & Risk Allocation

Drafting and negotiating the manufacturing, supply, design-build, and delivery agreements unique to modular projects. Modular contracting allocates risk differently than a traditional GC agreement — scope, schedule, payment, and quality obligations are split across manufacturer, GC, and owner in ways standard construction contract templates don't anticipate. This is where that gets structured correctly the first time.

03

Project Execution & Dispute Support

Legal support through the life of a modular project once contracts are signed — change orders, schedule and delivery disputes, quality claims, and the coordination issues that come up between manufacturer, GC, and owner as a project moves from factory to field. Modular delivery creates dependencies traditional construction doesn't, and disputes need someone who understands both sides of that handoff.

04

Fractional & Interim General Counsel

For manufacturers, general contractors, or developers without in-house counsel. This covers interim General Counsel leadership during a transition or growth phase, building legal infrastructure and contract playbooks from scratch, and ongoing retainer advisory for owners and executive teams who need a trusted legal advisor on call without carrying a full-time hire.

Not sure which of these fits?

Most engagements don't start as a clean fit into one category — tell me what you're working on and we'll figure out the right shape together.
